Stop Wasting Time. Exercise. Ride the Bike.

Why am I doing this?

This is pretty much what goes through my head in the morning. It's time to exercise and do the things that are good for me.

Truth be told, there some mornings it's a struggle.

It's called motivation.

When I am dragging, feeling more like I want to go back to bed, I take my fasting blood glucose reading. If it's really good, I feel excited to ride because it's doing me good. If it's not that good, I feel determined to ride because it helps the numbers and it's doing me good.

In a few minutes when the muscles are warming up and the breathing is getting in sync, I really start to feel good about what I am doing.

I want to celebrate my 50th wedding anniversary. I will be 96 years old when that happens. Thinking of that happy fact really starts the motivation going.

Got my bike, a good ride and a whole day of feeling good to look forward to no matter what.
